Just south of Deerfield Beach on A1A, Hillsboro Beach is a slender barrier-island town in Broward County, about three miles long and only about 900 feet across at its widest, with the Atlantic on one side and the Intracoastal Waterway on the other. It's a short drive from our Delray Beach office, and our Lehmann Realty team, led by Kurt Lehmann and his 25+ years in South Florida real estate, would be glad to show you this one-of-a-kind stretch of coast.
The town has just one road, running its full length, and it's almost entirely residential, with no commercial properties. At its southern end, the Hillsboro Inlet and the historic Hillsboro Lighthouse, in service since 1907, mark the passage between the Intracoastal and the ocean, and the town takes pride in protecting its many sea turtle nests.
Most residents live in beachside condominiums, alongside about 50 single-family homes, all with Hillsboro Beach addresses in ZIP code 33062. Curious about Hillsboro Beach? Reach out to Lehmann Realty. We'd love to help.
