Briny Breezes is an oceanfront mobile-home community that is also an incorporated town. In 1958 residents pooled their money to buy the park from the founding Miller family, and they formed the Town of Briny Breezes in 1963. The land is owned by Briny Breezes, Inc., and residents hold shares in the corporation, tied to their home sites, rather than owning a lot outright. The community spans both sides of A1A, with a 600-plus-foot private beach, an oceanfront clubhouse, a pool and a marina on the Intracoastal.
